Best Motorcycle Glasses

There is no such pleasure in life as that of driving a motorcycle. If you have driven a motorcycle – then you know exactly what we’re talking about here. The feeling is far more different than the feeling you get when you drive a car for example. Time stops while you’re driving, and you become one with the motorcycle, driving away idly, or exploring the surroundings. But of course, you will need to have a solid motorcycle if you are to enjoy driving it. There are many different models of motorcycles, and typically quality coincides with steeper prices.

But today we’d like to mention some of the accessories that you need to have in order to get the most out of the driving experience. Of course, the helmet is one of the core elements of the motorcycle equipment, as one of the most vulnerable body parts that you have is the head – it will need to be protected at all times. But moreover, you will also need motorcycle glasses. These are really useful in the fact that you will be able to stave off the wind from penetrating into your eyes – a really unpleasant experience. See our list on the best models.

3 Pair Motorcycle Riding Glasses Smoke Clear Yellow

I ordered these less than a week ago, and they arrived on the first day of the Estimated Delivery time span, which coincided with christmas eve(absolutely perfect timing!)Now for quality: I haven’t field tested these yet, but, Pros are this…They fit my girl and me great, the lenses and frames are of good quality, and they all have high UV resistance ratings. The yellow lenses are great for seeing at night, the clear are seriously clear (no accidental rainbow or weird glare there) and the black provides great sun blocking. The padding around the lenses makes for an awesome fit and good comfortability.Cons: They did fog up, and I hadn’t even put a bandana or balaclava on yet (which would push air up from mouth and nose to behind the glasses, usually) so anti-fog spray is definitely a must with these. The nose isn’t padded at all, so, if you don’t position them perfectly, they can press a little hard, which is going to be a slight hassle, since I will be using these with a balaclava/bandana and a bandana on my head or beanie, which will reposition the glasses.Overall: I’d definitely buy these at the price I paid before buying eye-pro from some of the more popular and common companies and retailers.

Oversized Choppers Men's Sport Padded Motorcycle Bikers Sunglasses SILVER MIRROR

I was a little worried that these were TOO big when I first looked at them and even after I put them on. I wear a full-face helmet when on my motorcycle and these have to fit inside the helmet with my noggin. But, they went on/in pretty smoothly the first time I wore them and even wore them again today on my ride into work.My pre-purchase focus: straight “arms” (again, so that I can put them on inside my helmet), possible cushioning (these have plenty of it), and mirrored or reflective lenses (these appear to be quite reflective).I wasn’t necessarily worried about the benefit of polarized lenses, but these definitely kill the glare and are polarized. Also, these are *VERY* dark if you wear them in limited light situations (dusk, tunnels, or – for me – parking garage). It got really hard to see this morning when I pulled in the garage at work today. I almost considered yanking them out but didn’t.Assuming these hold up (my previous two pairs lasted for several years each) I will be happy. Since I wear them in my helmet, my previous ones broke on the arm where the hinge meets the frame. Hopefully I get a few years out of these. 🙂

3 Pairs of Choppers Glasses Padded Frame Clear Yellow Smoke Lense Block 100% UVB for Outdoor Activity Spot

Great glasses for super cheap, I mean 3 sets for this price is like wow. I literally expected to throw these out or just keep as backup, but I’m really surprised. I use my “nice” sunglasses for day riding and bought these primarily for the Yellows for night time. Keep the dark ones in my bag on my bike in case I lose my others while out and have the yellows in the bag too for night riding. I mean for 10 bucks, they are GREAT. Do a decent job of keeping wind out, at high speeds its not perfect by any means, but I have owned big $ glasses that aren’t much better. For some yellows and back up dark (dont use clears at all, in my toolbox for safety type, just personal preference) you cannot go wrong here. Also, they feel pretty solid as far as build as well. Again, its 10 bucks for 3 pairs, how do you complain about that.

3 Pairs Kickback Foam Padded Motorcycle Sunglasses

This is the most important protection I wear on my bike. Being a “no helmet” rider it was very important to me to have glasses that would protect my eyes from debris, bugs and wind. After a lot of research (I do research as a profession) it was either going to be these glasses or a set of goggles. I’m not really into the whole Minion look-a-like scene so I opted to risk the $20ish on a set of 3 glasses (what could I lose). My only hesitancy was the reviews that said it doesn’t block the wind; I have sensitive eyes that wont stop watering when irritated by the wind. So this was a major detraction for my buying decision.I am so glad I took the risk. I understand that faces are shaped differently and that could be the reason for some of the negative feedback for these glasses, but I ride my bike often on the expressway at 70-75 (ok sometimes 80) mph and no wind gets in the glasses. There is a light “channeled” padding that goes around the frame of each lens which fits snuggly against the contours of your face – blocking out the wind. To the credit of those who had problems with wind getting in, a couple of times wind would start to blow across my eyes. When this happened I did the typical “nerdy” one finger eye glass adjustment (press index finger against the glasses bridge firmly against your nose bridge) and a new “seal” was formed providing total eye protection. Don’t get me wrong, it does not create a vacuum seal around your eyes, it simply molds to the shape of your eye sockets and you are good to go.I only have two (somewhat) negative issues with this set. First, they are so light weight that they do feel like they will blow off of your face if you turn your head too much. I haven’t even had any close calls with losing them but there is a little bit of discomfort thinking that if I look behind me to switch lanes at 65mph they might blow off. After wearing them for 2 months, I have started to return to my full range of motion when looking for traffic without any slippage from the glasses. So it is more a discomfort thing than a fault of the design. I guess if it bothered me too much I could always invest in a sports safety strap to mitigate the insecurity. The second issue is the clear glasses, which I have only worn a couple times, already has lens scuffs real near my line of sight. I store the clear lens glasses in my handlebar pouch which has suede lining and I’m sure the vibration from riding in there is where the scuffs came from. Nevertheless, I don’t believe they should scuff that easily. I just keep them in a cotton pouch to prevent further damage. On the positive note, I wear the tinted glasses constantly and they don’t even have a scratch (yet).I wear these glasses all the time and have the raccoon eyes tan to prove it. If you need eye protection on your ride I would not hesitate investing $20 in this set. It’s a great value.

Black Motorcycle Padded Foam Glasses for Outdoor Activity Sport 2, 3, 4 Pairs OWL (4_pairs_Black_Frame, PC Lens)

These fit me well and seem made surprisingly well. A must have if riding with any sort of open face helmet (or no helmet). The padding helps cut down the wind on your eyes so they don’t water tremendously but they do have a few slots for some air to get in and escape to prevent fogging. I’ll might mention I wear a large size in helmet just for reference in fitting if that helps others. Made in China.

MF Payback Sunglasses (Black Frame/Smoke Lens)

Have had very expensive motorcycle glasses and very cheap ones. What I can say about these is that fit me perfectly and black the amount of wind I would expect to be blocked. They have a built in pad system around them that will last a lot longer than the removable foam inserts in some of the expensive HD models over the years. The lense clarity on the super black is not as good as more expensive models I’ve owned but the only time you’ll notice it is in direct sunlight (as in heading into the sun when it starts to set. I don’t have a problem with them as I know in a few thousand miles, I’ll probably just trade them out for an extra pair. And at this price I can have a few extra in my saddle bags, in my toolboxes or my truck and still get more value out of them then a $125 dollar pair from the dealership. If you want perfect, get a $$$$ expensive pair. If you want practical, well built and purpose built, get a few sets of these. I’m actually ordering 3 more pair for myself and friends I ride with. As for high speed concerns, I ride at 70 plus without a windshield and these didn’t budge off my face. Small and medium sized faces will fit fine. If you have a larger head, these may not be for you. But at $8 bucks plus, it’s worth trying. Ride safe!

Black Motorcycle Padded Foam Glasses Clear Lens for Outdoor Activity Sport OWL

since i just got these, i can’t speak to their longevity, but i really love the way they fit and function. i got them because i needed a pair for riding at night, and the clear ones are comfortable and fit snugly, but they don’t fog up thanks to slots in the foam padding that allow for some continuous airflow. also, the visibility is great with no obstruction of peripheral vision of the sort i get with a more expensive pair of italian made riding glasses i purchased earlier.

Pacific Coast Original KD's Biker Sunglasses (Black Frame/Dark Grey Lens)

I must have a small head because I didn’t think they looked like kids glasses on me as others stated. Are they on the small side? Yes, but I didn’t mind that. Still looked good on me. I will buy the X-KDs in the sunglasses because I do want the sunglasses to be a bit bigger for better coverage. I bet those fit just fine as well. I was watching Sons of Anarchy and I can tell which guys had on the smaller ones and which guys had the larger ones. I would say if you have an oval shape face the smaller ones will fit and look good on you. If you got a round face… probably go with the larger pair. Just my 2 cents.

Polarized Military Field Motorbike Riding Glasses -Night Driving Riding Padded Motorcycle Mirrors Black Frame with 4pair Lenses

If you wear sunglasses during riding or boating these are nice glasses to pick up. Normally I would say that its a good pair of glasses if it was just one pair of sunglasses but with this you get four pair of glasses in one. It comes with four lenses that easily snap in and out, along with a strap to hold them on, a bag to store them, cleaning towel, and rigid case. Its super nice to be able to switch and hold the lenses secure when you are out on your boat and the conditions change so these are perfect. They are comfortable to wear and I even use them in my car I like them so much. I guess some people might not like the large case you put all the lenses in but I personally like to be able to store both the lenses and glasses in one spot and have them ready when I need them. I did have one lens where the foam backing was offset but it was fixed very easily and is still very secure in position so it was not a problem. Styling is also good in my opinion and for under $20 you cant beat this.– How I rate –5 Stars: Works exactly as advertised, is a good value at the price point purchased, would buy again or recommend to a friend.4 Stars: Works mostly as advertised, fit/finish are what you’d expect when purchasing this type of product, might have a minor flaw.3 Stars: Generally works but it may not be a good value at the price point or might like to see changes / improvements.2 Stars: Barely works but can be made useful if you try.1 Star: Useless, does not perform its intended function whatsoever and is generally a waste of money, sending it back.Overall: I am giving this a five star rating based on my criteria above. This sunglasses are really good and with the lenses and accessories this kit is really nice. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to ask in the comments. I will try to respond. If you found my review helpful or lacking also let me know I like to continuously improve. I hope this helps you with your decision making process.
